arctangent > Self-explanatory, except... Unless you had ever visited Wolfinger Cemetery, and noted its northward facing aspect, you wouldn't recognize this shot as a mirror image of the original. Light from the southwest, on an autumn afternoon, could never fall in this way on the front of this sign.
arctangent > Lost at Chickamauga. Uploaded Nov. 11, in honor of Veteran's Day. This grave stone for a casualty of the Civil War is in Wolfinger Cemetery, which lies inside Secor Metro Park, Toledo, Ohio. The inscription reads (as nearly as I could make it out. ELIAKIM MUNSON // A PRIVATE // IN CO. F. 11 REGT. O. V. I. // KILLED // AT CHICKAMAUGA GEO. // SEPT. 19 1863 // AGED // 20 YRS. 5 Ms. 15 Das.

arctangent > Maumee River at Grand Rapids. Looking toward the part of the dam that connects to the left (north) bank. The water levels and flow rate are both up from the low levels of summer, because of recent heavy rains throughout the watershed.
