But that disparity is not apparent when you see the group in real life, nor is it apparent in a wider angle group shot earlier in this sequence. (See Notocactus #01-2011M 03, http://smu.gs/y0Bpif). I would really like to know what it is about the way digital cameras process light, or the way the cactus needles reflect light, or the way the brain processes ocular signals that causes such a striking difference.
