Wave hello to spring. DP088-2013. Posted, taken, and processed March 29, Good Friday. This was the first day when temperatures were approaching normal, the sun was out, and there were actual signs of new growth to be seen. I spent about 4 hours visiting various venues and taking photos. I wanted something for today that could only be seen in early spring, and would be a little different from the predictable pictures of snowdrops, crocus, winter aconite, pussywillow, etc. (Though I did take some of those!) If you're curious, the shadows are from a garden bench along Geddes Avenue.
