arctangent > I love the lime green PFD on the dog. Somehow I doubt the boat livery rents PFD's for dogs, so these owners must take Fido boating with them often enough to make owning such an accessory worthwhile.

The dog looks to my untrained eye like a bichon frise. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
arctangent > Kayaker on the Huron River.
arctangent > Business at the boat livery is still going strong in early October. The returning canoe has an interesting passenger, which you can see better in a companion photo.

arctangent > Paddlers and dabblers on the Huron River.

July.
arctangent > Stern of HMS Surprise and bow of B-39 (submarine), seen from the rear deck of the Berkeley. San Diego Maritime Museum.

In the background, parallel to the waterfront, is Star of India, and iron hulled sailing vessel.
