Say What?
Details of worm tracks on downed trees. These tracks reminded me of cursive writing in some unknown alphabet.

The back deck is a convenient landing area for birds waiting for their turns at the feeders.

Detail of the tracks made by some small animal (almost certainly a mammal). For size reference, the snow was only about 1/4" deep. I believe that what is depicted is a pair of four-paw prints rather than two multi-toe paw prints.

Tracks made in light snow (~ 1/4 inch deeep) by some small animal. To my untrained eye, this seems to be a set of three separate tracks made by a very small four-footed animal that was running or hopping. There is no sign of a tail hitting the snow. On the left the two sets of tracks seem to represent the animal coming and going.
