Melting frozen in time.
I had only had the inside window open about a minute when I realized the delicate frost crystals I was trying to photograph were beginning to melt. Here you see them very much in transition. The rounded surfaces speak of liquifaction, but there is still amazing detail on those rounded surfaces. Nature continues to amaze me.
