2017-03-17 Triptych: Winter shadows - 3 BW versions, 4-6
D074-2017 Black cherry tree blocking the sun
I am always interested in how a person's response to an image might change, depending on how it is processed. I played around with various tonality effects (both in full color and in BW) for this image, and have put three of the BW versions together for easy comparison. Their full resolution versions are in my Photography/Photographic Styles/BW gallery, here: https://arctangent.smugmug.com/Photography/Photographic-Styles/Black-and-White-Monochrome/
Left to right, the filter effects were (all from Topaz Labs), infrared, low key, high key.
My back was toward the Willow Pond when I took this. I have featured a shot of the same subject (tree and bench), taken last year, but looking toward the pond.
